Job summary

United Service Companies is seeking a Regional Controller to oversee financial operations across a Midwest hotel portfolio. The role partners with property leadership and corporate teams to ensure accuracy, compliance, and profitability across accounting, forecasting, budgeting, and analysis.

The successful candidate will guide Directors of Finance and Controllers, drive regional reporting, and lead annual budgeting and capital planning while mentoring finance leaders and ensuring seamless

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; MBA or CPA preferred.
7–10 years' progressive hotel finance/accounting experience, multi-property.
Strong GAAP knowledge and financial reporting skills.
Experience with hotel brand reporting systems (Marriott, Hilton, IHG) preferred.
Excellent communication and mentoring abilities.

Responsibilities

Provide financial oversight and training to finance teams across the region.
Partner with General Managers and regional leadership for reporting and budgeting.
Monitor financial performance and identify profitability improvement opportunities.
Ensure GAAP compliance and adherence to brand reporting requirements.
Review balance sheets and income statements for accuracy.
Lead annual budget and capital planning for assigned hotels.
Conduct property visits to audit practices and advise operations.
Mentor finance leaders and build bench strength.
