Otsuka America Pharmaceutical Inc. seeks a Hospital Specialist to engage healthcare providers through in-person, virtual, and digital tools, delivering on-label information and product insights.

The role emphasizes local care delivery and enhanced patient experiences within a matrix ecosystem led by Area Business Leads. The position reports to the Area Business Lead and works with cross-functional teams in Medical, Market Access, and Patient Support.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of pharmaceutical or medical device sales experience.
• Must reside within a commutable distance of 50 miles from the primary city in the sales territory.
• 4+ years of experience working in a sales role with healthcare professionals (HCPs).
• Experience across cross-functional life sciences or related industry.
• Ability to operate in a transforming environment with ambiguity.
• Proven coaching, training, and mentoring skills.
• Demonstrates commitment to ethical business practices and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Proactively engage HCPs on product access, on-label information, and patient care guidance.
• Direct customers to other colleagues (e.g., MSLs) when appropriate using virtual or digital tools.
• Facilitate speaker programs and organize local provider groups for discussions with regional leaders.
• Elevate opportunities and local market insights to inform Area Business Lead and strategy.
