Job summary

St. Croix Hospice seeks a Regional Volunteer Coordinator to lead the volunteer program across Neenah, Green Bay, Fond du Lac, and Wausau, ensuring CHAP requirements and patient care alignment. Travel roughly four days weekly across service areas will be required.

The role focuses on recruiting, onboarding, training, supporting volunteers, and maintaining compliant records while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to enhance patient quality of life and service delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor level or higher in human services or related field preferred.
• Minimum of one year in a healthcare setting.
• Experience recruiting and onboarding volunteers a plus.
• Ability to supervise, coordinate and evaluate volunteer services.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; teamwork oriented.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the volunteer program across branch locations.
• Interview and select volunteers to fill vacancies and build a team.
• Onboard and train volunteers while maintaining a welcoming culture.
• Assess volunteer needs and develop new volunteer programs.
• Ensure services align with patient care plans and HIPAA regulations.
• Coordinate volunteer assignments and manage records.
• Travel to service sites to support program operations.
