Compassus is seeking a Hospice Area Executive of Clinical Operations to lead patient care across multiple locations. You will model Compassus values and oversee clinical operations, ensuring high-quality services and compliance with hospice regulations.

The role emphasizes leadership of Hospice Directors of Clinical Services, budget oversight, staff development, and vendor relationships across locations. A nursing leadership background and RN licensure support success.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years leadership and nursing experience in hospice or healthcare preferred.
• Active RN license in the state of employment; CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day patient/family care services and ensure high care quality and proper documentation.
• Monitor on-site operations with weekly location visits and monthly validation reports.
• Manage core program resources (pharmacy, medical supplies, DME, mileage, labor) and budget implications.
• Ensure staffing levels meet patient needs and align with budgetary planning.
