Job summary

Silverado Hospice Coastal Valleys is seeking a Regional Admissions Coordinator to support the admissions process for hospice and palliative care patients. You will blend administrative precision with compassionate coordination to ensure a smooth transition into care.

Qualifications

High school diploma required; college coursework in business administration preferred.
Minimum 1 year in customer service or inside sales.
Hospice/palliative care experience preferred.
Typing speed 50 WPM and proficiency in Excel, Word.
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

Manage data entry and maintain accurate admission tracking logs.
Coordinate hospital discharges and general admission processes.
Verify insurance and manage authorization processes; schedule staff visits with patients/families.
