Job summary

MSD Malaysia seeks an Associate Director, HIV Regional Trainer to support field-based learning and capability development for commercial sales teams within an assigned HIV region.

The role focuses on execution, providing feedback, and tailoring learning solutions to regional needs, with travel roughly 40–50% and a remote/field-based work setup. Strong collaboration with US L&D and marketing is required.

Responsibilities

• Training Execution & Field-Based Feedback: Deliver, facilitate, and reinforce clinical, product, and disease state training using HQ-approved materials, ensuring representatives are experts in the HIV portfolio.
• On-the-Job Feedback & Modeling: Conduct regional field rides with representatives to observe interactions and provide real-time feedback and best-practice examples on engagement, messaging, account management, and selling effectiveness.
• Onboarding Excellence: Direct and support regional onboarding of new hires in partnership with sales leadership, validating product knowledge and tools.
• Modern Learning Methodologies: Utilize virtual and in-person technologies to deliver engaging learning, modeling, and training.
