Telecare is seeking a Regional Health Information Operations Manager to support Clinical Information Management Services across the Greater Los Angeles Basin region. The role requires extensive travel to multiple behavioral health programs, with on-site support and leadership of HIM staff.

Starting wage range is $83,685.70 to $103,382.28, with geographic differentials applied by location. Responsibilities include coordinating HIM activities, ensuring regulatory compliance, and reporting metrics

Formación

• RHIT or RHIA credential through AHIMA.
• Minimum of six (6) years of experience in managing behavioral health clinical records in the past 5 years.
• If non-credentialed, ten (10) years’ experience with RHIT or RHIA credential within 2 years.
• Knowledge of Federal and State regulatory and accreditation requirements (HIPAA, CMS, CMIA, LPS, OBRA, Joint Commission, CARF).
• Willingness to travel 70% in assigned region.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle insurance; weekly mileage reimbursement at IRS rates.

Responsabilidades

• Demonstrates Telecare mission, values, and engages stakeholders.
• Oversees HIM services across Telecare’s system through leadership and training.
• Supports Facility & Program HIM activities and operations.
• Supports EHR applications, quality reporting, and HIM startup implementations.
• Develops tools and databases to capture and report metrics for quality reporting.
• Prepares reports for program and corporate committees on operations.
