Job summary

Aventura Healthcare Group is seeking a Regional Director of Operations (CDM) to lead food service and nutrition operations across multiple facilities. You will mentor teams, oversee budgets, and ensure high-quality dining services while maintaining strong client relationships.

Must have prior multi-facility healthcare dietary experience, be able to travel within the region, and demonstrate leadership, accountability, and effective communication across departments.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) required.
• Multi-site dietary operations experience required.
• Ability to travel within region frequently required.
• 2–5 years coordinating food service operations experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in culinary arts or related field preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and guide teams.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of records.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all assigned facilities, guiding operations, finances, HR, and client relationships.
• Provide direct supervision to Food Service Directors.
• Develop and manage unit budgets, including sales, production, and labor.
• Review financial results and adjust to improve performance.
• Educate Food Service Directors in P&L processes and month-end reviews.
• Ensure compliance with accounting practices and timelines.
• Support bids, rebids, and new program development with clients.
• Conduct audits of food production, menu standards, sanitation, and inventory.
• Train and develop Food Service Directors and staff as needed.
