Job summary

You will analyze contracting needs, develop strategy, and coordinate with internal teams to ensure compliant, cost-effective agreements.

Required are a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or 5 years of related experience, plus 2 years of leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in healthcare administration or related field.
• 3–5 years’ experience in reimbursement, finance, contract negotiations with hospitals/providers.
• 2 years’ leadership/management experience required.
• Excellent communication, presentation, problem solving and negotiation skills.
• Knowledge of CMS and NYS pricing methodologies and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate, plan, direct and control provider contracting activities across facility, professional, ancillary and value-based arrangements.
• Develop contracting strategy, templates, and rate updates with internal and external stakeholders.
• Analyze contracting needs and propose solutions; manage contract implementation and compliance.
• Coordinate with departments to ensure budget alignment and support Health Plan strategy.
• Maintain documentation, reports, and communication regarding provider relations and contracts.
