Job summary

Essentia Health is seeking a Vice President, Administrator to lead St. Joseph’s Medical Center and the Brainerd Lakes Area clinics in Brainerd, Minnesota.

You will oversee nursing and ambulatory leadership, own regional budgets, and partner with physicians to advance care models, including virtual care, that improve access and outcomes. You will report to the Senior Vice President of Operations and influence local strategy while leveraging systemwide best practices to strengthen community care

Qualifications

• Five or more years of progressive health care management experience at the director level or above.
• Executive experience leading a hospital, multiple sites or a service line, with results in finance, operations and quality.
• Strong understanding of healthcare finance, including P&L responsibility.
• Track record of working with physician leaders to get things done.
• Experience leading change and making it last.

Responsibilities

• Lead St. Joseph’s Medical Center and Brainerd Lakes Area clinics. Nursing and ambulatory leadership report to you.
• Own the budget and operating results for the region, working with your finance partner.
• Leverage systemwide expertise while bringing integration and collaboration to local market; ensure standards are adapted for local needs.
• Grow services in Brainerd and Baxter to bring care closer to home.
• Partner with physicians and clinical leaders to design innovative care models, including virtual care.
• Represent Essentia in the community and engage with civic and foundation activities.
