Essentia Health in Brainerd/Baxter, Minnesota, seeks a Registered Nurse to join a skilled team. This role involves coordinating patient care across units, leading nursing staff, and supporting high-quality outcomes in a dynamic hospital setting.

The position features 60 hours per pay period with rotating 12-hour shifts (days and nights) and a possible remote/hybrid option. In addition, a hiring incentive is available to new team members.

Qualifications

• BSN or ADN degree from an accredited school or college of nursing.
• Must have at least one year of RN experience in Med/Surg or Medical unit.
• Current nursing licensure in state(s) of employment.

Responsibilities

• Organize and deliver comprehensive care by managing all phases of the patient care process, including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
• Act as a team leader by delegating care responsibilities to nursing staff based on their licensure, training, and role specifications.
• Play a crucial role in advancing the facility’s and Essentia’s mission and goals, making a meaningful impact on the community we serve.
• Adhere to the standards set by the Joint Commission and other relevant federal, state, and local regulatory or accrediting agencies.
• Provide continuous assessment and monitoring of patients in critical conditions, utilizing advanced technology and clinical judgment to respond swiftly to changes in patient status.
• Work closely with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring optimal outcomes for patients.

This position will work the following: 60 hours per pay period Every Third Weekend Rotating 12 Hour Shifts Day Shift: 7:00AM - 7:30PM Overnight Shift: 7:00PM - 7:30AM

Licensure/Certification Qualifications
