Siemens Healthineers is hiring a Regional Health Physicist to support cyclotron manufacturing and PET facilities across the South Central US. You will ensure radiation safety, regulatory compliance, and environmental health in manufacturing and distribution environments.

You will lead EHS programs, coordinate audits, prepare regulatory reports, and train staff while collaborating with engineering and operations to balance safety with business needs. Travel up to 50% may be required.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Radiation Protection (Health Physics), Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Safety, or related discipline.
• Three+ years of experience in radiochemical or radiopharmaceutical manufacturing operations or applied radiation protection experience.
• Advanced degree or CHP certification may substitute for up to two years of experience.
• Ability to obtain CHP certification within one year, if not already certified.
• Must reside within the South Central United States, with access to regional facilities, or be willing to relocate.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% domestically.

Responsabilidades

• Provide day-to-day operational support for radiation safety and EHS programs across facilities in the South Central US.
• Lead implementation of radiation protection and EHS programs to ensure regulatory and internal policy compliance.
• Prepare, generate, and submit regulatory and corporate reports for licensing and governance.
• Develop and update programs in response to regulatory changes.
• Evaluate radiation safety and EHS impact of new processes and collaborate with engineering and operations teams.
• Oversee EHS and radiation safety initiatives including audits and inspections.
• Develop and revise operating procedures and technical documents supporting safe operations.
• Apply advanced technical judgment to resolve non-routine issues.
• Provide radiation safety guidance and training to staff across facilities.

Educación

Bachelor’s degree in Radiation Protection (Health Physics) / related discipline

Advanced degree or CHP certification may substitute for up to two years of experience

Willingness to obtain CHP certification within one year

Ability to travel up to 50% domestically
