Job summary

ProSidian seeks a Health Physicist for on-site support in the Southeast/CONUS region, located near Aiken, SC, to provide health physics services for nuclear and environmental management projects. Qualifications

• Master’s degree in nuclear engineering, health physics or applicable science/engineering from an accredited college or university.
• Bachelor’s degree in nuclear engineering, health physics or applicable science/engineering from an accredited college or university and 2+ years relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Applies radiological engineering and HP principles to multiple facilities/projects.
• Provides technical, operational, and regulatory guidance on radiological protection issues.
• Performs standard assessments and analyses to determine monitoring and shielding requirements to meet standards.
• Prepares technical documentation and models to support calculations.
• Manages scheduling changes and communicates updates to the team.
