Job summary

Acuity Eye Group is seeking a Regional Director of Ophthalmology and Optical Services to lead multi-site clinics and optical locations across a defined region. You will partner with clinic leaders to drive clinical and operational excellence, improve patient access, and ensure regulatory and financial performance.

The role requires Bachelor's degree (Master’s preferred), 5+ years of multi-site healthcare leadership, and willingness to travel within the region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master’s degree strongly preferred.
• 5+ years of multi-site operational leadership experience in healthcare or retail.
• Ophthalmology or optical industry experience highly preferred.
• Ability to travel regularly within the assigned region.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations across ophthalmology and optical locations in the region.
• Lead, coach, and support clinic managers, optical supervisors, and key site staff.
• Ensure operations are efficient, compliant, and patient-centered.
• Drive performance metrics including access, revenue, quality, and staff engagement.
• Partner with physician leadership to improve care delivery and provider alignment.
• Implement SOPs and best practices across sites.
• Analyze data to inform decisions and optimize workflows.
• Collaborate with HR, Finance, Marketing, IT, Revenue Cycle for operational support.
• Lead growth initiatives, access expansion, and cost containment.
• Manage budgets, staffing plans, and inventory control.
