Jackson Hogg are seeking a Regional Head - North America for our global client specialising in the manufacturing of speciality Flavors, Seasonings, Extract & Aroma Chemicals for the flavour and fragrance industry. This role will be responsible for Global Accounts and the global accounts teams.

Responsibilities -
- Building and scaling the commercial engine across the United States and North America. While company maintains an established global footprint, this locally based leader will transform our North American presence from a regional sales outpost into a high-growth, fully integrated commercial operation.
- This role holds full P&L accountability for the region, combining direct regional key account management with the setup and governance of a multi-channel distribution.
- The Regional Business Head will drive revenue growth, expand market share, and position company as a preferred partner for North American food, beverage, nutraceutical, and flavour manufacturers.
- Commercial Engine Architecture: Establish the operational processes, sales enablement tools, pricing frameworks, and target setting required to build a high performing local sales function.
- Budget & Margin Management: Manage the regional commercial P&L, balancing competitive market pricing with gross margin targets, local warehousing overheads, and freight logistics costs.
- Directly manage and expand relationships with tier-2 and regional enterprise accounts across the food, beverage, essential oils, dietary supplement, and personal care sectors.
- Complex Brief Conversion: Partner with regional client R&D, procurement, and culinary teams to convert application briefs into commercial wins, leveraging our global technical and formulation capabilities.
- Distributor Network Setup: Design, build, and optimize the US distribution ecosystem, evaluating, selecting, and onboarding specialty ingredient distributors and regional brokers.
- Partner Performance Governance: Establish Joint Business Plans (JBPs), sales quotas, and margin structures for distributor partners, conducting quarterly business reviews to drive accountability and pipeline growth.
- Channel Conflict Management: Establish clear rules of engagement between direct regional key accounts and distributor-managed territories to prevent channel overlap and maximize market coverage.
- Local Market Intelligence & Product Localization - Gather ground-level market intelligence on emerging consumer trends (e.g., clean-label, organic, natural colour shifts) to guide product positioning and inventory planning, in collaboration with the central market intelligence team.
- In-Market Inventory Planning: Work with the global supply chain and logistics teams to establish optimal US stocking levels, local 3PL warehousing strategies, and safety stock buffers to guarantee short lead times for North American clients.
- Global HQ Coordination: Serve as the primary commercial bridge between North American client requirements and global HQ functions, including R&D, application labs, production planning, and executive leadership.
- Lab & Experience Centre Setup: Direct the physical setup, operationalization, and strategy for a local North American Application Lab and Customer Experience Centre (CEC), working alongside central R&D, marketing and key accounts team.
- Central R&D & Marketing Synergy: Work in close synchronization with Central R&D and Central Marketing to localize global product formulations and deliver immersive sensory co-creation workshops for North American enterprise clients. Organizational Authority & Scope
Requirements -
- 15-20+ years of commercial leadership within the food and flavor B2B industry, with a strong preference for background in the ingredient solutions business.
- Extensive experience working directly with top-tier Flavor & Fragrance (F&F) houses and Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) brands.
- Proven track record of building a US/North American commercial business unit or sales organization from an early stage within a foreign multinational or matrixed enterprise.
- Demonstrated success in managing both direct enterprise sales teams and third party distributor/broker networks across North America
