  • Identify and develop business opportunities across all fragrance categories, including Fine Fragrances, Personal Care, and Home Care, within the US market.
  • Ensure alignment between customer strategies and the company's US growth objectives.
  • Deliver annual sales, gross margin, and profitability targets across the US territory.
  • Generate new business opportunities across existing and prospective customer divisions in the region.
  • Drive project conversion from brief to commercialization.
  • Expand customer share of wallet across the United States.
  • Increase customer penetration through strategic project pipelines and new category development.

Job description

Our client is a leading fragrance house looking to hire a National Account Manager to serve as the primary commercial lead for designated accounts across the United States. Working in full coordination with the internal organization, this person will be responsible for delivering sustainable growth and an exceptional customer experience, ensuring the successful execution of the company's fragrance strategy across the US market.

The role reports directly to the Commercial Director and needs to be based in Georgia, with proximity to Atlanta airport for national travel. Travel across the US is expected to be approximately 30% of the year.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute account plans for assigned US customers.
  • Build long-term relationships with senior procurement, marketing, innovation, and R&D stakeholders within designated accounts.
  • Identify and develop business opportunities across all fragrance categories, including Fine Fragrances, Personal Care, and Home Care, within the US market.
  • Ensure alignment between customer strategies and the company's US growth objectives.

Qualifications & Experience
  • Degree in Business, Marketing, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 8 years' experience within the Fragrance or broader CPG sector. Ideally within a fragrance house or raw material supplier into CPGs.
  • Proven track record managing regional or strategic accounts within the United States.
  • Strong commercial negotiation and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience working within an international or matrixed organization.
  • Excellent business and financial acumen.
