Job summary

The Texas Department Of Criminal Justice is seeking a Regional Grievance Supervisor to oversee grievance operations across multiple units within the region. You will provide leadership, guidance, and oversight to grievance staff and ensure timely, compliant processing of grievances.

Travel up to 25% and regular engagement with facilities is expected as you monitor workloads, review performance, and develop staff through training and support to maintain statewide consistency in grievance

Responsibilities

• Monitoring grievance workloads for units within the region
• Review staff performance and work quality
• Provide guidance and technical assistance
• Identify and address operational concerns, ensuring compliance with established policies, procedures, and program requirements
• Provide ongoing training and support to staff
• Assist with resolving complex grievance-related issues
• Monitors overdue workloads and other performance indicators
• Communicates effectively with program leadership
