Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a human service field required; combination of education and work experience may substitute.
• Experience interpreting or overseeing compliance with state and federal licensure regulations preferred.
• Must have SMQT certification or obtain within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and track surveys for NF, ALF, PPECC, ICF, DAHS, LSC, HCSSA, and HCS/TxHmL programs.
• Provide regulatory guidance and develop/update enforcement policies statewide.
• Contribute to enforcement decisions, review reports, and assist with referrals as needed.
• Coordinate with CMS and internal staff; participate in workgroups and hearings.
• Travel up to 35% and maintain accurate enforcement tracking systems.
