Indiana Ag Connection seeks a Regional Grain Manager in Frankfort, IN. This exempt role leads profitability and regional facilities, coordinating merchandising, logistics, and trading with the Central Indiana team. Develops staff to align with regional and corporate goals.

Responsibilities include asset profitability, staff leadership, and managing basis, freight, and futures spreads. Requires a BA/BS and 5–10 years in elevator management or grain trading, with strong MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree; 5–10 years in elevator management, trading grain, or freight booking.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Clear communication in person or by phone.
• Experience in fast-paced commodity trading environment.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, be a self-starter.
• Travel required for this role.
• IBM/VAX systems knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Direct profitability and manage regional facilities in line with company practices.
• Coordinate merchandising, logistics, and trading with Central Indiana team.
• Develop and support employees to achieve regional and corporate goals.
• Oversee regional assets and profitability; implement long-term asset strategy.
• Lead staff, manage and trade basis, barge freight, and futures spread positions.
• Ensure quality control/discount scales and enforce company policies.
