Job summary

The Texas Democratic Party Austin, Texas, United States is seeking a Regional GOTV Director to lead a regional team of GOTV Organizers and drive large-scale voter contact across the region.

This role involves coaching, real-time problem solving, and ensuring the GOTV Leadership team has the insights needed for day-to-day operations. The position runs Aug 17, 2026 through Nov 15, 2026 and is a full-time exempt role with substantial hours during peak campaigning.

Qualifications

• At least 4 months experience managing a team.
• At least 2 cycles of experience on a campaign.
• Commitment to the Texas Democrats mission and our values.
• Task and time management skills.
• Experience planning, setting up, and staffing events.
• Volunteer management or teambuilding acumen.
• Access to a reliable car and drivers license.
• Access to a phone and laptop computer.
• Attention to detail when reviewing documents and coordinating with volunteers.
• Strong mastery of Google Suite, Excel, and online databases.
• There are no formal education requirements for this position.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support organizers: Lead a team of GOTV Organizers through weekly one-on-ones and feedback.
• Coordinate in-region: Partner with in-region counterparts to align efforts.
• Build a culture of collaboration: Foster accountability, collaboration, learning, and support.
• Communication structures: Maintain daily check-ins, reporting channels, and calendars.
• Share strategy: Communicate priorities and plans to ensure alignment.
• Drive staging location selection: Identify and prepare staging sites for GOTV operations.
• Troubleshoot and solve problems: Respond quickly to challenges to keep programs running.
• Manage reporting: Collect and analyze regional metrics, increasing reporting during GOTV.
