Job summary

The Texas Democratic Party seeks Regional GOTV Directors to join the Texas Together 2026 Coordinated Campaign, supporting Talarico for Texas and Democratic candidates. Regional GOTV Directors will manage and support a team of GOTV Organizers to execute a large-scale voter contact effort across their region.

The role begins the week of August 17 and ends November 15, 2026, with long days and a 6‑day workweek at peak, total hours often 60+ weekly.

Qualifications

Experience managing a team is required (minimum 4 months).
At least 2 campaign cycles of experience.
Strong alignment with Texas Democrats mission and values.
Excellent task and time management.
Experience planning events and staffing.
Volunteer management or teambuilding skills.
Access to reliable car, drivers license, phone, and laptop.

Responsibilities

Lead a team of GOTV Organizers with weekly coaching and feedback.
Coordinate with in-region counterparts to align efforts.
Foster collaboration and accountability within a fast-paced campaign.
Maintain clear communication structures including daily check-ins and team chats.
Share priorities and plans to connect goals to success.
Oversee staging location selection and readiness for GOTV operations.
Troubleshoot challenges to keep programs running smoothly.
Collect and analyze regional metrics with increased reporting during GOTV.
