Job summary

Texas Democratic Party in Fort Worth is looking for a Regional GOTV Director to lead a team of GOTV Organizers across the region and drive a large-scale voter contact effort as part of the Texas Together 2026 Coordinated Campaign.

The role runs Aug 17 to Nov 15, 2026, is full-time with long days and a heavy workweek at peak. Compensation is $6,000 per month plus a $500 GOTV stipend; benefits include health care, vision, dental, and transit stipends.

Qualifications

• At least 4 months experience managing a team.
• At least 2 cycles of experience on a campaign.
• Task and time management skills.
• Access to a reliable car and drivers license.
• Experience planning, setting up, and staffing events.
• Volunteer management or teambuilding acumen.
• Strong mastery of Google Suite, Excel, and online databases.
• There are no formal education requirements for this position.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of GOTV Organizers through weekly one-on-ones, coaching, feedback, etc.
• Coordinate in-region with counterparts from other departments and the coordinated campaign.
• Foster accountability, collaboration, learning, and support amidst a fast-paced campaign.
• Maintain strong communication structures, including daily check-ins and reporting channels.
• Share campaign priorities, strategic shifts, and plans to ensure organizers understand goals.
• Ensure staging locations are identified, secured, and equipped to support GOTV operations.
• Respond quickly to challenges to keep organizing programs running effectively.
• Collect, analyze, and communicate regional metrics, with increased reporting during GOTV.
