Job summary

DCF Lakeland General Services in Florida seeks a General Services Specialist. The role requires maintaining PPE inventory, vehicle management under CFOP 40-2, and coordinating moves and IT equipment relocations.

The candidate will supervise daily operations, ensure sites run smoothly, and report to supervisors with timely updates. Flexibility for occasional travel and emergencies is expected.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have a valid Florida driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Able to pass a level 2 background screening and clear MVR.
• Experience in supply/warehouse management is a plus.
• Experience with OSHA safety regulations is desired.
• Familiarity with IT equipment and moves during large relocations.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining and accounting for PPE and DSNAP inventory and distribution systems.
• Compliance with CFOP 40-2 Vehicle Management and monthly logs for state vehicles.
• Maintain ERV (Emergency Response Vehicles & Trailers).
• Assist with day-to-day needs for the department and witness destruction of mail weekly.
• Assist with internal and external moves for the department.
• Create and manage keys and a log of who has them; manage the keycard system across sites.
• Disposal of surplus materials and furniture per CFOP 80-2.
• Install whiteboards, corkboards, and pictures in offices and hallways.
• Ensure sites are prepared with necessary equipment and reporting to supervisors.
