Job summary

MEI Industrial Solutions seeks a Regional Office General Manager for Jackson, MS to lead regional operations, sales and administrative teams while driving financial strength and safety culture. You will collaborate with the corporate office to achieve targets and growth across services.

The role requires 7+ years in operations management within construction or industrial services, strong budgeting skills, and a commitment to MEI’s safety and customer service standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Project or Construction Management, Industrial Management or related field.
• Minimum seven (7) years general operations management experience in construction/industrial services.
• Minimum seven (7) years financial experience including job costing and P&L for a full operation.
• Strong organizational development, personnel management, budgeting and strategic planning skills.
• Demonstrates alignment with MEI’s values and culture.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM/business software as needed.
• Valid driver’s license and insurable.

Responsibilities

• Direct, manage and be accountable for regional office operations, sales and administrative staff and financial, safety and operational initiatives.
• Foster MEI’s safety culture through training and leadership with EH&S leadership.
• Collaborate with corporate to manage office financials including budgeting, AR/AP, job costing, assets and profitability.
• Coach and mentor sales; participate in bids/estimates and price projects; manage sales expectations.
• Hire, coach, train and manage performance of sales and operations leadership and admin staff.
• Travel for client meetings, crew management and corporate leadership functions.
• Report to Regional Vice President and collaborate with the C-suite team.
