Job summary

Navigate Search seeks a General Manager for multifamily construction in Orange County/Southern California. Lead regional operations, drive profitability, and oversee field and office teams to deliver safe, on‑time, high‑quality projects.

You will manage cost controls, bidding, subcontracting, and client relations to grow the business. Applicants should have extensive construction leadership experience, ability to travel up to 50%, and proficiency with Procore or similar software.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in multifamily construction preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities required.
• Ability to travel up to 50% as needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all regional operations and administrative functions.
• Lead and develop operations, project management, and sales teams.
• Drive project profitability through cost control, estimating, purchasing, and subcontract management.
• Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to quality standards.
• Hire, mentor, and develop employees while fostering a positive team culture.
• Review contracts, monitor project progress, and oversee billing and collections.
• Develop new client relationships within the multifamily construction market.
