Job summary

Co-op Funeralcare is looking for a Funeral Plan Consultant to be the first point of contact for funeral plans. You will deliver exceptional client experience, manage your own diary across the region, and follow up on enquiries while building relationships in the local community.

The role involves direct contact with clients and travel to meetings. Training will cover FCA requirements and pre-need services to ensure compliant advisory support.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is required.
• Excellent communication skills with ability to build relationships with clients and the community.
• High levels of empathy, discretion and care when supporting clients in vulnerable times.

Responsibilities

• Provide clients with expert guidance on funeral plans and options.
• Manage your diary and arrange face-to-face visits and follow-ups.
• Keep accurate client records and ensure documentation is handled securely and promptly.
• Support branch teams with funeral plan enquiries and admin tasks when required.
