IDEA (Islamic Development & Empowerment in America) is seeking a Development Coordinator to build and maintain relationships with donors, masajid, businesses, and communities in Nebraska or Iowa. The role supports fundraising campaigns, events, and outreach under the Fund Development division, reporting to the Regional Manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, required.
• Experience in fundraising is required.
• Willingness to travel 60% of the time within designated area, with regional/national/international travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain positive donor, masjid, business, and community relationships across the assigned area.
• Strengthen relationships with mosques and community partners and identify new opportunities.
• Conduct outreach visits and represent IDEA at events and program engagements.
• Plan and support regional fundraising activities in coordination with leadership and volunteers.
• Respond to inquiries about IDEA’s campaigns and opportunities for engagement.
• Schedule and deliver presentations to diverse audiences.
• Prepare plans, projections, and reports for the Regional Community Fund Development Manager.
• Research local communities and opportunities to support fundraising strategies.
• Engage in ongoing training and professional development.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
