Zusammenfassung

Sandvik Mining is seeking a Regional Freight Operations Manager – SAM to lead and continuously improve regional customs and freight operations across South America, ensuring fast, cost-efficient, high-quality and sustainable transportation solutions.

You will drive operational excellence, manage inbound and LMD freight operations, monitor cost, quality and delivery, and coordinate with global Supply Chain projects and service providers.

Qualifikationen

Bachelor-level degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics or related field.
Bilingual in English (mandatory) and Spanish/Portuguese (interview in English)
Based in Chile or Brazil.
Minimum of 10 years of freight transportation/logistics operations experience.
Minimum 5 years of experience with diverse and multinational teams.
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
Valid driver’s license or local equivalent.

Aufgaben

Lead the regional Freight Operations team.
Design and implement regional and local freight strategies and transportation solutions.
Manage inbound and LMD freight operations.
Ensure compliance with customs requirements and international trade regulations.
Monitor and improve cost, quality and delivery performance.
Participate in global Supply Chain and Logistics projects.
Manage relationships with logistics providers, carriers and customs brokers.
Oversee governance, administration and maintenance of transportation contracts.
