Job summary

Einride Logistics in Houston, TX, seeks an experienced Regional Planner to architect a high-performance regional network. You will use Einride’s VRP platform and AI-driven tools to transform large shipment datasets into profitable movements across our hub network.

The role requires 6+ years in regional planning or related fields, strong TMS and data analysis skills, and the ability to negotiate and coordinate with carriers. This is a full-time onsite position based in Houston, Texas.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in regional planning, freight brokerage, or carrier operations optimization.
• Experience with modern TMS and algorithmic routing platforms (Qargo preferred).
• Strong understanding of Hours of Service (HOS) regulations and freight pricing.
• Analytical mindset with ability to translate data into actionable plans.
• Proven negotiation skills to secure favorable rates in a volatile market.

Responsibilities

• Intelligent network orchestration: leverage VRP data to maximize yield per mile across hubs.
• Forecasting: predict volume spikes and balance regional capacity with demand.
• Execution: assign loads taking into account HOS, proximity, and home-time requirements.
• Carrier sourcing: identify and vet high-performance third-party carriers.
• Systems & data integrity: maintain real-time accuracy in the TMS and monitor KPIs.
