Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking an Operations Controller for Regional Planning & Forecasting. This role partners with regional operations, leads planning, forecasting, and performance management to drive financial accuracy and efficiency across the geographic area.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
5-8+ years of FP&A, operations finance, accounting, or controllership roles.
Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting methodologies.
Proven ability to influence stakeholders and partner with cross-functional teams.
Excellent analytical, communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills with proficiency in ERP, Excel, and BI tools.

Responsibilities

Lead annual operating plans, quarterly forecasts, and long-range financial projections for the region.
Translate operational drivers into accurate financial forecasts and business plans.
Oversee month-end close, reporting, KPI tracking, and compliance with policies.
Monitor performance vs. plan, identify variances, and recommend corrective actions.
Serve as the financial liaison between regional operations and leadership.
Support strategic initiatives via scenario modeling and investment analysis.
Drive continuous improvements in planning and forecasting processes.
