Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking an Operations Controller for Regional Planning & Forecasting. You will lead planning, forecasting, and performance management across a defined geographic region, partnering with regional leaders to align financial results with corporate objectives.

You will drive monthly close, scenario analysis, and investment decisions while delivering actionable insights to improve operating efficiency and profitability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
• 5–8+ years of FP&A, operations finance, accounting, or controllership experience.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, budgeting and forecasting methodologies.
• Proven ability to influence stakeholders and partner with cross‑functional teams.
• Excellent analytical, communication, presentation, and problem‑solving skills; proficient in ERP, Excel and BI tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual operating plans, quarterly forecasts, and long‑range financial projections for the region.
• Translate operational drivers into accurate financial forecasts and business plans with regional leadership.
• Oversee month‑end close, financial reporting, KPI tracking, and policy compliance.
• Monitor performance vs plan; identify variances and recommend corrective actions.
• Serve as financial liaison between regional operations and segment leadership.
• Support strategic initiatives through scenario modeling and investment analysis.
• Drive continuous improvements in planning, forecasting, reporting, and processes.
