Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking an Operations Controller for Regional Planning & Forecasting. You will lead planning, forecasting, accounting, and performance management for a defined geographic region, partnering with regional leaders to drive financial alignment with business goals.

With 5–8+ years in FP&A or controllership, you will apply strong accounting principles, budgeting, and forecasting skills using ERP, Excel, and BI tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• 5–8+ years of experience in FP&A, operations finance, accounting, or controllership roles.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, budgeting, and forecasting methodologies.
• Proven ability to influence stakeholders and partner effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills with proficiency in ERP, Excel, and BI tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of annual operating plans, quarterly forecasts, and long-range financial projections for the assigned region.
• Partner with regional leadership to translate operational drivers into accurate financial forecasts and business plans.
• Oversee month-end close activities, financial reporting, KPI tracking, and compliance with accounting policies.
• Monitor performance against plan, identify variances, and recommend corrective actions to improve business results.
• Serve as the primary financial liaison between regional operations and business segment leadership.
• Support strategic initiatives through scenario modeling, investment analysis, and resource allocation recommendations.
• Drive continuous improvement in planning, forecasting, reporting, and operational performance processes.
