Job summary

Sysco is seeking an experienced Sales Professional for the South Milwaukee, Milwaukee, WI territory. This outside sales role focuses on promoting Sysco products, building relationships with new and existing accounts, and meeting sales and profit goals.

The position offers a competitive base salary plus bonus and incentives, car allowance, and robust benefits. Candidates with Restaurant Management, Culinary, or Chef experience are encouraged to apply; some non-traditional hours may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Hospitality, Culinary Arts or related discipline, OR
• HSD/GED with 3 years Restaurant Management or outside sales experience, or equivalent
• Sysco Sales Internship completion considered equivalent

Responsibilities

• Develop new business and penetrate existing accounts to achieve growth
• Seek and qualify prospects following account stratification goals
• Research customer needs and propose a mix of products and services
• Evaluate market trends and recommend products
• Provide product information and training to customer personnel
• Drive personal vehicle to customer accounts and meetings
• Manage deliveries to routing schedule; troubleshoot stock issues
• Attend sales/district meetings and participate in promotions
• Review daily/weekly reports and maintain sales records
• Prepare quotes, menus, and filing reports; assist with credits
