Job summary

Fairfield Residential is hiring a Floating Senior Maintenance Technician to maintain multiple residential communities across the Boston region, including Chelsea, Peabody, Lawrence, Woburn, South Walpole, Milford, and Andover. The role includes diagnosing HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool, carpentry, drywall, and appliance issues, supervising outside contractors, and ensuring safety and compliance.

Travel is supported by a monthly auto allowance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• HVAC‑EPA (Type II) or EPA Universal license is required.
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) license is required.
• Valid driver's license is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily maintenance tasks and diagnose/repair issues in various areas.
• Respond to maintenance requests promptly and professionally.
• Maintain pool, hot tub, and other amenities; ensure safety and cleanliness of buildings and grounds.
• Schedule and document preventative maintenance and apartment turns; conduct regular inspections of common areas and equipment.
• Supervise duties and outside contractors in the absence of the Maintenance Supervisor; coordinate move‑ins and move‑outs.
• Assist with safety meetings and compliance with policies and regulations; report potential liabilities.
• Maintain inventory and assist in purchasing materials and supplies.
• Participate in resident functions and post notices.
