Job summary

Fairfield Residential is seeking a Floating Senior Maintenance Technician to support multiple residential communities in the Boston area, including Chelsea, Peabody, Lawrence, and more. You will diagnose and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other system issues, supervise contractors, and ensure safety and property standards.

Requirements include a high school diploma, HVAC-EPA Type II or EPA Universal license, CPO license, and 2+ years in property maintenance.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
HVAC-EPA (Type II) or EPA Universal license is required.
Certified Pool Operator (CPO) license is required.
Valid driver’s license is required.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in property maintenance or related field.
Experience supervising maintenance staff and contractors preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform daily maintenance tasks and diagnose/repair issues in various areas.
Respond to maintenance requests promptly and professionally.
Maintain pool, hot tub, and other amenities; ensure safety and cleanliness.
Schedule and document preventative maintenance and apartment turns.
Supervise duties and outside contractors in the absence of the Maintenance Supervisor.
Coordinate move-ins and move-outs.
Assist with safety meetings and compliance with policies and regulations.
Maintain inventory and assist in purchasing materials and supplies.
Participate in resident functions and assist with posting notices.
