Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse for the Regional Float Pool, rotating across Mercy hospitals in the St. Louis region. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care for adult/geriatric patients, with a focus on flexibility and learning in a dynamic environment.

The role includes night shifts, full-time status, a $2,000 sign-on, and various shift differentials. Benefits begin day one, with tuition reimbursement and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.
• Current LPN license in the hiring state.
• One year of bedside LPN experience for Med Surg; two years for ED/ICU or other specialties.
• Epic experience preferred (EMR system).
• BLS; ACLS; PALS certifications as required for specific units.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate individualized nursing care.
• Float between Mercy’s designated Community Mercy Hospital facilities in the St. Louis region.
• Provide care across units including Med/Surg, Telemetry, ED, ICU as assigned.
• Maintain competencies and adhere to Mercy nursing standards.
