Job summary

Healing Partners is seeking a Regional Float Nurse Practitioner to cover a designated region, traveling to Skilled Nursing Facilities across the defined region. You will plan, direct, and evaluate resident and staff health care in long-term care settings, addressing chronic and acute illnesses, injuries, and providing bedside procedures within scope.

Requirements include completion of an NP program, Board of Nursing approval, RN licensure in the state, active APRN license, and a Master’s in

Qualifications

• Master’s degree of Nursing specializing in Nurse Practitioner programs.
• Successful completion of an approved nurse practitioner program.
• Current approval by the Board of Nursing to perform medical acts.
• Must be currently licensed as a registered nurse in the state.
• Current Active, unrestricted APRN license in the state in which the applicant has applied.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and evaluate resident and employee health care in long term care.
• Examine and treat chronic and acute illnesses, minor injuries, and other conditions.
• Perform selected laboratory testing and write prescriptions.
• Collaborate with medical director on care of residents and staff.
• Provide updates to PCPs/CMs on patient status and outcomes.
