Qualifications

• Certification or eligibility for board certification (ASCP/AMT/NCA/ACHI or equivalent) within 12 months of employment.
• Ability to maintain quality control records and use computers to enter results.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory tests on patient specimens to aid diagnosis and treatment.
• Maintain performance records and ensure quality control standards are met.
• May participate in research and development activities and serve as a resource to staff.
• Instruct students and staff on laboratory procedures and techniques.
