Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency seeks a Regional Float ED RN to provide patient-centered care across multiple hospitals in Missouri and Illinois. You will be assigned to one ED at a time for 2–12 weeks, performing assessments, developing care plans, and collaborating with interprofessional teams.

Job description

Role Overview: This position involves providing high-quality, patient-centered Emergency Department (ED) care across multiple hospitals within a health system.

As a Regional Float ED RN, you will be assigned to one hospital at a time for 2–12 weeks, supporting 11 hospitals in Missouri and Illinois (excluding Children’s Hospital). You will work exclusively in ED settings, performing assessments, developing care plans, and collaborating with interprofessional teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Key responsibilities include promoting patient safety, utilizing evidence-based practice, advocating for patients, and fostering a positive work environment through mentorship and leadership. You will adapt quickly to new teams and environments, integrating into diverse patient populations.

Qualifications include a minimum of 2+ years ED RN experience, BLS certification, and an RN license for Missouri and Illinois. Preferred candidates hold a Bachelor’s Degree, TNCC certification, and 5-10 years of experience.
