Job summary

Bimbo Bakeries USA is seeking a Fleet Manager to oversee the daily operations of fleets and garages across the Central US Region. You will lead staff, ensure safety, and drive programs aligned with company policies.

You will manage maintenance, oversee mechanics, and coach on light and heavy-duty repairs while championing cost-saving and productivity initiatives. Strong leadership and DOT/state inspection knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Technical degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 5-7 years' experience in Fleet or Transportation.

Responsibilities

• Manage company owned vehicles, garages, and mechanics to provide a safe and dependable fleet.
• Oversee maintenance and safety compliance with DOT/State mandates.
• Lead continuous improvement to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
• Coordinate with third-party maintenance providers and budget management.
