Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Business Unit Fleet Maintenance Manager to oversee up to five or more maintenance shops and lead teams responsible for preventive maintenance and repair of a 91+ truck fleet and other heavy equipment. You will direct on-site technicians and supervisors, coordinate repair scheduling, manage overtime, and drive safety and regulatory compliance across sites.

Travel is required to support nationwide operations.

Qualifications

• Experience leading maintenance teams across multiple sites.
• Strong scheduling and overtime management能力.
• Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs for large fleets.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction to technicians and supervisors to ensure safe, efficient repairs.
• Oversee daily shop coordination, scheduling, and overtime management to boost productivity.
• Maintain preventive maintenance programs across all shops within geographic responsibility.
• Perform inspections to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
• Monitor quality control inspections and address issues promptly.
• Manage payroll, records, and budgeting for the maintenance department.
• Travel to support operations across sites.
