Job summary

Rumpke Waste & Recycling seeks a Region Vehicle Maintenance Manager to oversee maintenance operations across multiple locations, ensuring safe, compliant, and cost-efficient fleet management. You will lead Maintenance Managers, manage budgets, and drive performance improvements within the region.

You will ensure DOT compliance, coordinate with site managers on maintenance activities, and develop teams to meet regulatory and company standards while maintaining high service levels for customers

Qualifications

• 5 years of industry experience managing multiple locations.
• CDL preferred.
• Computer proficiency in Windows, Microsoft applications (Word & Excel) and SAP software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership to Maintenance Managers across multiple locations, including workforce planning, payroll, and DOT hour compliance.
• Drive audits of preventive maintenance, road calls, warranty recovery, and parts inventory at each site.
• Ensure maintenance operations meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards and company policy.
• Develop department capability by guiding managers on hiring, training, and performance within budgeted hours.
• Liaise with Regional and Area leadership to report fleet, container, and equipment status.
