Job summary
GEX Transport is seeking experienced flatbed drivers in the Baton Rouge area. Regional routes offer home weekends with steady pay and reliable freight.
Trainees need 1 year of OTR or Regional experience, while experienced drivers require at least 6 months of flatbed work plus 1 year OTR/Regional experience. Drivers can earn $1400 to $1600 per week, with a $5000 sign-on bonus for experienced flatbed drivers.
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months flatbed experience and 1 year of Over the Road or Regional experience.
- Trainees must have 1 year of OTR or Regional experience.
- Clean motor vehicle record and background checks.
Responsibilities
- Tarpping and strapping down certain loads.
- Complete pre trip and post trip inspections and deliver freight on time.
