Job summary

Brown & Brown, Inc. in Atlanta, GA seeks a Director of Financial Operations to own regional month-end close, internal controls, budgeting, forecasting, and FP&A, reporting to the CFO of the Wholesale Division.

You will lead a finance team, partner with leadership, and drive process improvements to support growth. This role requires seven to ten years of experience in finance with a CPA and/or MBA preferred; strong Excel and PowerPoint skills; and proven leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; Master’s preferred.
• 7–10 years in a similar Controller/FP&A role or equivalent.
• Proven leadership in building and developing a finance team.
• Experience delivering projects with measurable financial results.

Responsibilities

• Own defined region’s month-end close, budgeting and forecasting.
• Ensure internal controls are designed and operating effectively.
• Partner with regional leadership and CFO for planning & decision support.
• Lead, coach and develop the regional finance team.
• Develop budget/forecast models and present analyses to senior leaders.
