Job summary

Baker Construction, a leading specialty contractor, seeks a Finance Leader for the Regional President and leadership team. You will provide strategic financial management, insights, and decision support to deliver the company’s objectives from Cincinnati or Fort Lauderdale.

You will lead planning, forecasting, reporting, and project financial leadership across multiple locations, driving GAAP-compliant analysis and cross-functional collaboration with Operations and Project teams.

Qualifications

• Over 10 years in accounting/finance in a project-driven business.
• Experience supporting multiple locations in a matrix structure.
• GAAP knowledge with job cost & construction accounting.
• Proficiency with Power BI reports and data integration.
• ERP experience; Vista system a plus.
• CPA, MBA or related certification is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual financial planning with targets and drivers.
• Provide actionable financial insights across markets and segments.
• Lead project financial leadership including pricing and cash flow.
• Ensure GAAP-compliant reporting and month-end close.
• Oversee internal controls and regional accounting procedures.
• Manage and develop staff; drive continuous learning.
