Job summary

Mulberry Talent Partners seeks a Divisional Finance Director for a national nonprofit. Lead financial governance across the Cascade region (Oregon and southern Idaho), directing accounting, planning, budgeting, reporting, and internal controls for 35 operating units.

The role oversees a nearly $50M operating budget, partnering with field leaders to translate data into clear insights for non-financial managers and guiding a Finance Department to support strategic decisions and fiscal stewardship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, or a related field required.
• MBA and professional certification (CPA or CMA) preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of managerial accounting and supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and FASB standards.
• Nonprofit accounting experience, especially with large federal grants.

Responsibilities

• Provide divisional financial leadership across the Cascade region, overseeing 35 operating units.
• Advise senior leadership on fiscal policy, budgeting, reporting, and internal controls.
• Ensure GAAP-compliant accounting practices and external reporting accuracy.
• Lead the Finance Department and mentor field-unit personnel.
