Job summary

The Bachrach Group seeks a Director of Finance / Divisional Controller to lead the finance function for a national nonprofit program. You will own budgeting, forecasting, monthly close, and reporting, partnering with program leadership and executive teams.

In this player-coach role you will manage a multi-site operation, drive timely insights, strengthen controls, and guide regional teams while working closely with the Senior Controller and COO.

Qualifications

• Senior finance leadership experience with budgeting, forecasting, monthly close, and reporting.
• Strong accounting and operating judgment; translate financial issues into decisions.
• Experience in complex, multi-program or non-profit environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the finance team, set priorities, and standards; recruit for gaps.
• Own the annual budget process across national, summer, and regional operations; prepare materials for leadership.
• Drive accurate monthly close and timely variance reporting for leadership.
• Produce quarterly forecasts and monitor major programs against plan; flag risks and opportunities.
