Job summary

PALFINGER is seeking a Regional Field Service Mechanic for Hartford, CT, to diagnose, repair, and maintain articulating cranes and related equipment on customer sites. The role emphasizes on-site service, safety, and clear communication with fleet managers.

Qualifications

• 3 years of mechanical experience or formal training in articulating cranes and forklifts.
• Ability to diagnose and repair hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Valid CDL or willingness to obtain CDL within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and optimize articulating cranes, truck-mounted forklifts, conveyors, trucks, and trailers.
• Carry out quarterly preventive maintenance and annual inspections.
• Handle emergency service calls during both working and non-working hours.
