Job summary

Boston Scientific seeks an Associate Manager, Field Services to lead a regional team of Field Service Technicians, supporting capital equipment and service offerings. You will drive a culture of customer-first service and ensure delivery of outstanding support for the West Region.

Responsibilities include coaching, training and developing staff, managing escalations and ensuring KPI targets. This is a remote position with significant travel; sponsorship is not offered.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in engineering, electronics, biomedical technology, or related STEM field.
• Minimum 5 years' field service or similar experience installing, troubleshooting and maintaining complex electro‑mechanical systems in customer environments.
• Minimum 1 year in a leadership role coaching, developing, or guiding others.
• Strong communication skills with customers and cross‑functional teams.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% to support a regional Field Service team.

Responsibilities

• Lead a regional team of Field Service Technicians to meet goals and drive customer satisfaction.
• Coach, direct and develop direct reports; propagate best practices across the organization.
• Train, motivate and manage day‑to‑day activities of Field Service Technicians.
• Recruit and retain personnel; drive productivity, engagement and a positive work environment.
• Identify performance issues and implement improvement actions.
• Assist with escalated complaint coordination for Field Service Technicians.
• Ensure service delivery meets KPIs and financial expectations.
• Foster continuous improvement aligned with Quality Policy and procedures.
• Communicate expectations and provide timely updates to the team.
• Provide SME support for escalated customer calls as needed.
• Conduct team meetings and stay current on internal processes and policies.
