Job summary

AlphaStaffHCM is seeking a Regional Field Sales Trainer in California to coach retail sales teams on protection plan programs, deliver in-person and virtual sessions, and drive higher attachment rates across the client’s retail network.

You will travel within the state, train diverse groups, and collaborate with account managers to align initiatives with client goals. The role requires a strong training background, sales experience, and willingness to work weekends when needed.

Qualifications

• Proven success in retail sales, sales training, or account management.
• Excellent facilitation skills for groups of varying sizes.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills with store teams and management.
• High energy, confident, and able to motivate and inspire others.
• Proficiency with MS Office 365 and virtual meeting tools (Teams/Zoom).
• Willingness to work weekends/holidays to accommodate retail schedules.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the region.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience in sales training or account management.

Responsibilities

• Deliver in-person and virtual training to retail staff and leadership to boost protection plan attachment rates.
• Act as a brand ambassador and strengthen partner relationships with furniture stores.
• Conduct coaching, group presentations, and new-hire training in retail environments.
• Collaborate with management to assess training needs, set goals, and measure impact.
• Support ongoing learning via follow-ups and remote consultations using Teams/PowerPoint.
• Serve as point of contact for claims, policies, and procedures and resolve escalations.
• Track training schedules, store visits, and performance metrics; travel as needed.
